My birthplace Thessaloniki has numerous early Christian and Byzantine monuments protected by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites.

This is a walking tour we explore the rich cultural and religious heritage of this unique city, its tiny or larger churches one can find almost everywhere in the city. Many of them are decorated with mosaics and frescoes still preserved dating back from the 5th to the 14th century. Starting from the top of the hill with the Byzantine time Acropolis and along the city walls, we continue to the city center.
